Under new ownership since a few weeks ago. The new owners are starting out really great. The food is good, Portuguese, but with a twist. Finally, roasted vegetables are back on the menu, alongside the usual meaty faire. It is just a bit of a shame that they are now closed 3 days a week. It would also be great if smoking was not allowed outside, or at least on the dining side of the terrace.

A great spot for lunch! The staff are very friendly and the food very good. Prato do Dia reasonably priced with soup, main dish, dessert, drinks coffee all included for €13.50. One of the best in the area!

Authentic portuguese restaurant with welcoming staff. We ordered the porco preto & chicken. Both were very nice & seasoned well. €56 for 3 main meals, deserts & drinks.

Having visited this lovely Restaurant on many previous occasions on my Motorcycling trips I was delighted to discover a delightful new Restaurante area added to this already popular Coffee Stop. Offering an inclusive Lunch Menu under 10 euros we enjoyed an excellent quality lunch. I had Pork Alentejano ‘Pork with Clams’ one of my favourite local dishes. It was cooked to perfection. I can’t recommend this Restaurante enough for good value food & drink plus excellent service.

An absolute gem of a restaurant with delicious local food and the most welcoming service and atmosphere. We enjoyed both a dinner and small lunchtime plates that were rustled up despite the kitchen being closed, whilst we waited for a taxi organised by the restaurant. Offerings are based around changing daily specials and a core menu of Portuguese specialities including seafood, pork and beef accompanied by freshly prepared salad, vegetables, rice or potatoes. Extremely good value dishes and drinks with generous portions.
